I know I said I would post pictures but honestly, I don't think I can right now. Instead, I'm going to tell you about why I love paper dolls and the benefits of making them.
1. Anyone can do it, from a 3-year-old to a 101-year old.( I myself am only 10) You just need to know what one is and how to make one.
2.You don't need much to make one. Scissors, tape, paper, a pencil, and a pack of markers/crayons is really all you need to make wonders happen.
3. They don't cost a lot of money. Unlike American Girl (Which I have 7 of,so I don't think I'm getting another of at this point); Ellowyne Wilde, and other higher-quality doll brands, the things that you need for let's just say A LOT of paper dolls and stuff for them you can get for only about $10.
4. You can do it with your friends.If you're having a party or sleepover, you can have a lot of fun with them by making them together.
5.They're great for gifts. If you need a good idea for a gift for friends/family members ( only the girls,though! You're on your own if it's a boy) for special occasions or just to be nice, you can make a doll, some outfits and accessories, pack them in a nice bag/box with a card or note inside. They also make great take-home party favors.
6. Don't sell the thing you want or it's too expensive to buy? You can make a paper version and customize it to be exactly how you want it. There's no limit to your imagination!
7. You can easily replace them. Lost a favorite one or was destroyed by a pet, mean person,your brother, or just want to remake it? You can probably redo it in only about 15-20 minutes.
8. They're so fun! You just try and make one! You'll be hooked! Plus, knowing that you made it makes playing with it even more fun.
9. If I want a doll that's retired, all I need is a picture of some sort and I can make thousands.(if I want to)
10.They are very easy to store. Paper dolls are small and flat, so you can have as many as you want and they will
hardly take up any space.
